Chromatik Games is an independent game studio based in North Carolina, USA — solo-operated, building experimental games end-to-end.

Every project here is built end-to-end by one person — design, code, art direction, audio, deployment, and support. No outsourced art teams, no contract programmers, no publisher relationship dictating direction. The work moves at the pace of one person who cares deeply about the result.

The studio's focus is on games with deep replay value: tower defense, survival, multiplayer-first design. Games meant to be played for hours, with friends, and returned to over weeks and months. Games where every run feels different, where the systems reward learning, and where you can't fully see the bottom of the well.

We don't have investors. We don't have publishers. We have time, persistence, and a willingness to iterate in public — which means players see the warts as they appear and disappear. Early supporters get the rough edges; long-time players get the polished result. That's the trade.

PHILOSOPHY

Earn your information. No minimaps, no kill feeds, no markers showing exactly where to go. Players learn the world by playing it. The reward for paying attention is mastery.

Build for replay. A game you finish in eight hours and shelve forever isn't the goal. The goal is something you reach for after a long day because there's still something to figure out.

Multiplayer should be friends-first. Random matchmaking is a tax on the experience. Private lobby codes, friend invites through Steam, easy cross-platform play — these are first-class features, not afterthoughts.

No pay-to-win, ever. Cosmetic-only monetization where it exists at all. The studio's relationship with players is one of trust; that trust is non-negotiable.
